Automatic Cooling Bed

Automatic cooling beds are supplied for uniform air cooling and controlled handling of TMT bars from the finishing stand to the discharge side. The system positions bars over toothed racks, advances them in a phased sequence, levels the front ends, and feeds counted bars to cold shear and bundling. Each cooling bed is engineered to match the finishing mill layout and bar size range, ensuring correct cooling time, straightness, and surface quality.

Automated rake-type system for uniform cooling of TMT bars and sections.

Capacity: 20-75 tons/hour; handles 8-50 mm dia bars.
Sizes: Length 40-105 m; width 5-13.5 m (e.g., 120x12.5 m).
Design: Automatic rake with fixed straightening rakes; twin channel delivery; motorized chain drive.
Features: Bar alignment, pre-bending prevention, air blowers for faster cooling; PLC controls.
Applications: TMT rebars, RCS, flats, angles; cools from 700°C to <150°C.
